1. Please give a title to the picture
"A little too late"
I chose this title because I believe that is what the artist's message is. The log we see in the middle of the picture is already dead and dry - it is no longer a living tree, but a piece of firewood. The intravenous drip that is plugged into the side of the log is a pathetic and futile effort to revive the tree. The damage has been done. There's no reversing it.
2. What do you think when you see such a picture?
When I see a picture like this, I am always reminded of the urgency of environmental problems. Once the damage is done, there is no way to reverse it. The world we live in has been greatly destroyed already, and it may take only a few more years before the entire ecological system collapses completely. It's no use to regret our actions when everything is lost. We should take measures to stop this terrible calamity from happening, well ahead of time. I think that these pictures serve as an effect reminder of the fact that environmental problems are not a thing of the far future, but rather a problem that we must deal with immediately. Also, they serve as a warning that once it's too late, there is no way of going back.
